From her base at Oriel Brondanw Sian Hughes this July and August will be doing field work for her project Fragments in Time.
Sian works with porcelain clay rolling it paper thin and pressing it into the landscape. She is planning to use this process to make impressions from plants, geology, industrial remains and elements of the Traeth Mawr. When these fired fragile pieces are lit from behind, captured layers of objects and history will emerge.
